NEW JERSEY – September 3nd, 2019 – U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) has once again expanded its business with the acquisition of Franklin-Griffith. The acquisition was completed on August 19th, 2019 and includes all five locations in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Bill Walker, current president of Franklin Electric Company, will remain on as President of this new region.
Franklin Electric Company started in 1920 and purchased Griffith Electric in 2016, supporting growth with four additional branches. The company is ranked #134 on Electrical Wholesaling’s 2019 Top 200 ranking. According to the 2018 report, Franklin-Griffith had $44.2 million of sales in 2018.
“This is our 2nd acquisition this year,” said Randy Eddy, CEO, “as we are aiming for our company’s continuous growth in the electrical industry. Currently, we are comprised of 11 regional brands including Electrical Wholesalers, Hampden Zimmerman, Monarch Electric, and more. We currently have over 1,500 employees who are specialists in lighting, wire and wiring devices, tools, power distribution, control automation, datacom and solar.”
