To provide the necessary information our suppliers need, USESI recommends the use of NEMRA’s POS Minimum Reporting Standards. This improvement guarantees our company that our representatives are appropriately compensated.

NEMRA has created a process has effectively developed minimum reporting standards that are designed to streamline processes to be more distributor-friendly, which encourage usage and ensure consistency.

According to Randy Eddy, President of USESI, “Manufacturer reps are important to us.  They are the linchpin to many of our suppliers and are partners to us in supporting our customers. We share POS reporting with our suppliers to ensure that the reps that call on our branches are appropriately compensated.  The NEMRA template will help us have a consistent process to deliver the critical information our suppliers need to report and compensate our reps. We do business with many of the 43 manufacturers who have currently endorsed the plan and we look forward to migrating to the NEMRA standard to support their reps and will be able to provide the information in this format in the near future.”

Ken Hooper, President of NEMRA, commented, “NEMRA reps who support USESI throughout their footprint are appreciative of USESI’s endorsement and commitment to sharing information with their manufacturers via the NEMRA Minimum Reporting Standards. This can help them ensure they are appropriately compensated by their manufacturers for their efforts calling on USESI.  NEMRA has focused on gaining manufacturer support and, as evident with USESI’s endorsement we’re now focused on gaining the support of leading distributors such as USESI.”
